March 8

Theory: Today we use the time for classical assessment so we don't have theory and practical class. I did well on my assessment but I still have to improve by do more practice

March 9

Theory: Today we got our singing assessment score and I got 8/10 and we also do a quiz: classical to pop, history, chord and inversion. I can do the quiz its not very hard. I have to upload my video this weekend so I can get the score.

Practical: Today we learn about chord inversion and I understand it but I have to do more practice so I can done it well because when I play I didn't play it very smooth.

March 15

Theory: Today we review about major chord and some of my friends in piano class play the chord in the piano. I still remember and understand this topic very well. We also got a homework, we have to complete a booklet and submit it tomorrow.

Practical: Today we still play the major chord from C to B major and my problem is still the same. I have to improve my fingering so I have to practice.

March 16

Theory: Today we collect the reflection copy and I'm gonna submit it during lunch time. we also review and notation check from the previous quiz. Make up assessment for those who didn't pass the assessment. Today Mr. Herry explain us about the music composition and I understand it very well because we already did it on grade 7 and we got a homework to make a16 bar composition (AABA and ABACA).

Practical: Today we didn't do anything because we have to watch our friends that have to redo the assessment.

Video

1: The first video is the video when I practice my song for the classical music assessment. I still make some mistake when I play it because I don't really practice, especially my left hand. So I'm gonna practice my left hand so i can play it perfectly in the assessment and in the next video

2: The second video is the video when I practice the major chord from C Major until B major scale. I still make some mistake in this video especially on my fingering. So I have to do more practice and pay more attention on my fingering so I can play it perfectly

3: The third video is the video when I practice my Major Chord from C Major until B Major scale. In this video I play it nicely and I already got an improvement on my fingering because I do some practice.

4: The Fourth video is the video when I practice for the classical music assessment. This is the day before the assessment and I have an improvement. I can play it well and almost perfect. I'm sure that I can get a good score in the assessment.

Music Reflection

February 22:
Theory: Today we learnt about major scales,chord  and inversion and I understand it very well but some of my classmate don't understand
Practical: Today we play our classical song and I choose Nocturne in C# minor by Chopin and Mr Herry said there is some part that I have to improve. ( bar: 50, 55 and 56)

February 23:
Theory: Today we watch some video from YouTube of different kind on musical instrument. And Mr Herry check our Major scale home work and I've done it already. We review some lesson from yesterday which is Major scale and the interval. I also perform my classical song for the assessment.
Practical: Because I already play during theory class so I don't have to play anymore.

March 1:
Theory: Today I only listen my friends performance because I already play last week.
Practical: Today we only practice and my weaknesses is still in the same part( bar: 50, 55 and 56) and I have to improve it by do some more practice.

March 2:
Theory: Today we learnt hot to find Major, Minor and diminise 7th and I understand it very well and also review about Major and Minor scale triads.
Practical: Today we got time to practice for 15 minutes and we perform one by one and Mr Herry said that I already improve.

Music Reflection

February 1:
Theory: Today we discuss about the essay that we are gonna do and we have to submit it tomorrow. Mr Herry provide us the information that we need for the essay. We also discuss about the presentation for next week. We have to arrange our time to make the slide presentation. We also have the singing rehearsal.
Practical: Today I play the contemporary scale and I have to improve mr fingering especially in F major.

February 2:
Theory: Today we continue the singing rehearsal and I submit my essay today. But I didn't rehears  because I did it last week but I will practice my song at home so I can get a good score.
Practical: Today we learnt about inversion: Mr Herry give us the theory and we also try it and it is not very hard for me.

February 8:
Theory: Today I do my singing assessment and I've done it well but Mr Herry said the song is to high for me so next time I have to manage it. I have to practice more.
Practical: Today we don't have practical class because we use the time to do the singing assessment.

February 16:
Theory: Today we do the group slide presentation and I realized that my group is lack of cooperation because the boys didn't make the slide and they don't know anything.  Group 2 is quite good because they prepare the Q card but they don't make eye contact to the audience and they don't really cooperate with each other. Group 3 is better than group 2, they also prepare the Q card but they don't make eye contact to the audience. Group 4 is almost the same with my group they didn't prepare the Q card but their cooperation is quite good. And group 5 is not really good because they lack of cooperation and not all of them prepare the Q card. so for me the best group is group 3.

Practical: Today we don't have practical class because we use the time to do the group slide presentation.
